LaneTally Terms of Use

Version: 1.1, October 15, 2026

LaneTally and lanetally.com are owned and operated by Brightforge Labs LLC, a Florida limited liability company, 2287 S Haverhill Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33415. Contact: hello@brightforgelabs.app. In these terms, "LaneTally", "we" and "us" mean Brightforge Labs LLC.

1. Information only

LaneTally is software that helps you keep records: loads, invoices, driver pay, books, IFTA miles, renewals and reports. Everything it shows, prints or downloads is information only, made from what you and your team enter.

Nothing in LaneTally is an official tax form. The Schedule C, yearly pay and wage pages are information for your records, not IRS forms (LaneTally makes no 1099, 1096 or W-2). LaneTally never sends anything to your drivers, dispatchers, carriers or the IRS for you.

2. You check everything

You are responsible for what you enter and for checking every number before you use it, file it, pay it or share it. You are responsible for your own taxes, 1099s, payroll, IFTA, permits, insurance and contracts.

3. As is

LaneTally is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises that it is free of errors, always available or right for your purpose, to the extent the law allows.

4. AI can make mistakes

AI features are coming (they are not working yet). When they arrive, for example reading a receipt, a W-9 or a rate confirmation, or suggesting a category, they can be wrong. Check them before you rely on them. Automatic rules (for example a suggested category) can be wrong too.

5. Not tax, legal or accounting advice

LaneTally is not a CPA, a tax preparer, a law firm, a payroll service or a financial advisor. Ask a tax professional before you file taxes, make 1099s or W-2s, pay drivers or make money decisions.

6. Your data

Your data belongs to you. You can download it at any time. We use it only to run LaneTally for you. People you invite see only what LaneTally's privacy rules allow. Keep your own copies of important records.

7. Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, LaneTally is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or taxes, penalties, interest or fines, including those that come from information in LaneTally.

To the extent the law allows, LaneTally's total liability for any claim is no more than the fees you paid LaneTally in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against LaneTally because of your data, your use of LaneTally or your breaking these terms, you will cover LaneTally's reasonable costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

9. Florida law

These terms follow the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Questions: support@lanetally.com
